This course provides students with Concept of Nature of soil, Phase relationships, BIS Classification system, Theory, comparison of laboratory and field compaction methods, Factors influencing permeability of soils, Components of settlement ,Immediate and consolidation settlement and Computation of rate of settlement

Objectives
